It's everywhere these days! Everyone talks about or refers to social media during the course of any given day. In terms of business, it should be called "biz media"! Social media is the way that people will communicate as we move forward. I am not saying that it will replace everyday conversation. Just visit any of the popular sites and listen to the chatter and you'll quickly find out that there is a whole new world out there.
So, can we actually use social media to grow business? The answer is yes, but not in the traditional way. Social media is about spreading the word, helping others find something, and connecting "socially". It's low pressure or no pressure to buy or sell. Think of it this way... social media is the digital form of a group of friends sitting around shooting the breeze.
